Puchka
Method:
  • Mix fine flour and semolina and thickly knead it by adding lemon juice to it.
  • Cover it with a wet cloth for half an hour.
  • Heat the oil in the ‘karhai’.
  • Give small round shape to the kneaded dough and roll them.
  • Now, put the rolled pieces in the ‘karhai’ 8 to 10 at a time.

Note : While putting ‘puchka’ in the ‘karhai’,  press them slightly with a spoon or something so that it swells up.

Ingredients

  • 250gm semolina
  • 50gm fine flour
  • 2 pieces lemon
  • 500gm refined oil for cooking
Serves 5
